Christopher Johnson was born in Rhodesia in 1961. He left Southern Africa in 1989 to base himself in England. Travelling extensively to find subject matter that moves him most, he has exhibited in London, Edinburgh and the South of England regularly and has shown in America, Australia, South Africa and in Europe. His work is to be found in private collections around the world. Richard Jaques, writing for the Scotsman said of him that the artist's "future is well worth watching". We are delighted to bring this collection of exuberant and vivacious paintings to The Wykeham Gallery.
