David Howell’s beautiful watercolours and oils are mainly concerned with capturing atmosphere and a sense of time and place, with the emphasis on good paintings rather than topographical accuracy. James Longueville’s oils and pastels show his fascination with the effect of light and atmosphere on his subject matter and he is well-known for his portrayal of the British countryside as well as luminous views of Venice and elsewhere in Europe. Exhibition open until 21st May, Monday - Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm
