Overview
David Walsh

David Walsh is a landscape artist, working with traditional oil paints and also with hand-made pastels of pure pigment.  He works en plein air, working outside in all seasons to really see and respond to the landscapes and weather – with intellect and soul.  David travels extensively with his paints and pastels around this country and into Europe, to find places that move him to draw and paint.

David developed a love of the countryside from a young age and has always been an outdoor man passionate about weather.  After training for two years in Rome, David combined leading walking tours through the Italian countryside whilst developing as an artist and his work has been exhibited widely in England and Italy since 1993.
