We are delighted to present our 2025 contemporary art exhibition, featuring the works of Maureen Davies, Soraya French, and Gareth Parry paintings. This exhibition brings together three distinguished artists whose work spans pastel landscape paintings, mixed media floral painting, Welsh landscape paintings, and expressive palette knife painting. Their artworks are held in collections worldwide and reflect the unique creativity and vision of each artist.

Maureen Davies

Maureen Davies, born in 1952, trained in Textile Design at the Central School of Art and Design in London. Her background in textiles influences her dynamic use of pattern, texture, and colour in her contemporary landscape paintings. Maureen is celebrated for capturing light in transformative ways, whether the winter sun flickering through trees or the brilliance of Portuguese landscapes. Her pastel landscape paintings are particularly sought after, and she is a recognised member of the Society of Women Artists.

Soraya French

Soraya French is an internationally acclaimed artist working from her studio in Quarley, Hampshire. Her mixed media floral paintings and figurative compositions are known for vibrant colour, light, and expressive textures.

Soraya blends figurative elements with semi-abstract passages, inviting the viewer to experience the fleeting beauty of everyday life. She serves as President of the Society of Women Artists and has received multiple awards for her work, which is held in private and public collections worldwide.

Gareth Parry

Gareth Parry, born in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales, in 1951, is renowned for his Welsh landscape paintings and expressive palette knife painting. His work captures the energy of the land and the character of the people of Wales, combining observation with memory to create paintings full of vitality. Gareth has exhibited extensively in London and Wales and was elected a Royal Cambrian Academy artist in 2006, reflecting his distinguished standing in the art community.
